2. Analytics and Third-Party Services

2.1 AppsFlyer
We use AppsFlyer for attribution and analytics purposes. 2.2 Firebase

3. Push Notifications and Reminders
Our App uses push notifications and local reminders to help you stay consistent with your recovery routines:
3.1 Push Notifications
- We use Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications to your device
- A unique messaging token is generated for your device to receive notifications
- You can enable or disable push notifications during onboarding or in your device settings
- We do not use push notifications for marketing without your explicit consent
3.2 Local Reminders
- The App schedules local notifications for your configured reminders (morning stretch, breathing break, evening wind-down)
- Reminder data (time, recurrence, custom days) is stored locally on your device
- Background scheduling uses WorkManager to ensure reminders are delivered reliably
- You can manage and delete reminders through the App's settings
4. Health and Wellness Data
Our App collects health and wellness data to support your recovery journey. This data is considered sensitive and we take special care to protect it:
4.1 Data We Collect
- Pain levels by body area (tracked on a 0-10 scale for neck/shoulders, upper back, lower back, hips, knees, ankles/feet, arms/wrists)
- Fatigue levels (tracked on a 0-10 scale)
- Mood indicators (Low/Neutral/Good)
- Weekly check-in responses and recovery status (Behind/On Track/Ahead)
- Journal entries with personal notes
- Recovery preferences (user level, focus areas)
4.2 How This Data Is Stored
Important: All health and wellness data is stored locally on your device only using secure local storage (Hive database). This data is:
- NOT transmitted to our servers
- NOT shared with third parties
- NOT synchronized across devices
- NOT accessible by analytics or advertising services
4.3 Your Control Over This Data
You have full control over your health data:
- You can view all your data within the App
- You can reset your journal entries through the App's settings
- You can reset all data (including preferences, reminders, check-ins, pain levels, and journal entries) through the App's settings
- Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored data
5. Local Data Storage
Our App stores the following information locally on your device:
- User preferences (recovery level, focus areas)
- Onboarding completion status
- Notification and reminder settings
- Configured reminders (time, recurrence pattern, custom days)
- Weekly check-in history
- Journal entries (dates, pain levels, fatigue, mood, notes)
- Pain tracking data by body area
This locally stored data is not transmitted to external servers. You can clear this data by:
- Using "Reset journal" option in the App's settings
- Using "Reset all data" option in the App's settings
- Uninstalling the App from your device
6. Advertising ID
We collect your device's Google Advertising ID (GAID) for the following purposes:
- Attribution: Understanding how users discover our App (which ads, campaigns, or referrals led to installs)
- Analytics: Measuring the effectiveness of our marketing efforts
- Fraud prevention: Detecting and preventing install fraud
Your choices regarding Advertising ID:
- You can reset your Advertising ID through your device settings
- You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings
- On Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Reset advertising ID or Delete advertising ID
